Expert and Analytical Support for the Development and Implementation of Artificial Intelligence

Background

The Presidential Commission on the Development of Artificial Intelligence Technologies serves as a coordination body, facilitating interaction among federal authorities, the scientific community, and business circles in the formulation and implementation of state policy in the field of artificial intelligence. The TRIM Center provides expert and analytical support to the Commission’s co-chair.

Our Role

The TRIM Center monitors and analyzes the development of artificial intelligence technologies in Russia and globally. Our analytical work is aimed at supporting the Commission in addressing its key tasks. Those include defining strategic approaches to the development of artificial intelligence technologies, adapting economic sectors and the social sphere to the AI implementation, approving and assessing the achievement of target indicators, ensuring technological leadership, improving legal regulation and the education system, analyzing risks and threats associated with the use of AI, as well as developing international cooperation.

The focus of our analytical work is on studying trends in AI development, building a sovereign technology stack, ensuring developers’ access to computing resources and data, promoting the adoption of AI across the economy and social sphere, creating a supportive regulatory environment, and refining promising areas of cooperation with international partners.
